Leavitt Homes Renovation
Originally constructed in 1954, the Leavitt Homes renovation transforms a 198-unit community spanning 61 residential buildings. The comprehensive rehabilitation includes interior and exterior renovations, modern finishes and fixtures throughout every residence, and significant accessibility upgrades, including the conversion of 20 mobility-accessible units and four audio/visual-accessible units. Improvements also extend beyond the homes themselves, with accessible site enhancements and renovations to shared amenities, including the leasing and maintenance building, creating a more functional and inclusive community for residents.

Westgate Apartments Renovation
The renovation of Westgate Apartments breathes new life into a three-story, 12-unit garden apartment building originally built in 1970. Comprehensive interior and exterior improvements refresh every apartment with contemporary finishes and fixtures while modernizing corridors and shared interior spaces. The result is a revitalized residential environment that enhances comfort, durability, and the everyday experience of its residents.

Westview Terrace Renovation
At Westview Terrace, a 1959 affordable housing community comprising 38 townhome buildings and two flat buildings, the renovation delivers a complete modernization of the development through extensive interior and exterior improvements. Updated finishes and fixtures throughout every residence renew the character of the community while improving functionality, durability, and long-term performance. The project reinforces the Lorain Metropolitan Housing Authority's investment in preserving quality affordable housing for generations to come.
